We married on Easter Even and our colors were pale yellow and lavender. My bouquet was made up of yellow daffodils, lavender iris and green ferns. Since we both come from families with a blend of Irish, English, Scottish and German blood, plants and flowers that grow in those countries remind us of our combined heritage. Honoring that special day gives me inspirationfor this quilt which will feature paper-pieced iris blocks interspersed with quilt-lines of cornflowers, embroidered heather, daffodil corners and an appliqued clover border.
