Our family was blessed with an opportunity to spend time in Ireland during the Christmas Season. This visit was made possible by what could be called nothing other than an act of kindness to us. After the trip, I wanted to find a way to express my appreciation and thankfullness. This series of small celtic knot quilted pieces set in fabric representing the various moods and weather of Ireland in the time we were there seemed to fit the bill. The series is entitled "Memories of Ireland" and the pieces are "Memories of Ireland," "Crystalline Mornings," "Stormy Nights," and "Stalwart Irish, Deep and True." These pieces are set in Walnut frames to offer an "from our home to your home" encapsulation. We expect these people to be in our lives, one way or another from now on.
